When a US-born survivor of modern slavery and child sex trafficking contacted me in 2015 with a view to telling her story, I had no idea this encounter would ignite my soul mission and purpose. What unfolded revealed a world I was utterly unprepared for – a world hidden behind the glitz of Hollywood, where the bright lights cast shadows deep enough to obscure unspeakable truths.
I’ve always been described as a free-spirited humanitarian, and freedom is one of my core values, yet it wasn’t until meeting her (and other survivors who later came forward) that I realised the powerful significance. This encounter didn’t just challenge me; it transformed me.
At the time, I had left my career in the television industry to explore my own passion – telling stories that make a difference, aiming to inspire change and advocate for social responsibility. Yet this profound experience opened my eyes in ways I could never have imagined. Learning that she had been trafficked to film studios and across borders, to help pay the family mortgage, caused a sickening discomfort inside me; her childhood stolen in service of an industry that often hides its darkest truths behind a veil of glamour.
Over the next four years, I fell deeper into the deep rabbit hole of this harrowing reality, my journey led me to confront various authorities and financial establishments in the UK and the US as I desperately tried to raise awareness of these heinous crimes and create positive change. Yet, despite countless efforts, no action was taken. Why? What forces kept these truths in the shadows?
Despite all this, the film was never made, yet the experience shaped me profoundly. This is not just an isolated story of exploitation and systemic failure. It reflects a universal truth that touches us all: none of us want to be a commodity for someone else’s gain. We all desire to live free, fulfilling lives on our own terms. But true freedom – inner peace, emotional liberation, and physical well-being – requires more than desire; it demands conscious, consistent choice.
I won’t share more details of these encounters right now, but the purpose of telling you this is simple: there’s another story waiting to be written – not just for humanity and nature, but for you.
In many ways, we have been merely surviving, working to pay bills or fulfil obligations, rather than living fully in alignment with our highest calling.
The rapid shifts and disruptions we’re witnessing in political, economic, societal, and cultural landscapes are not random. We are in the Age of Aquarius, an era defined by freedom, authenticity, and awakening. But as we move toward the light, the shadows rise. The structures that upheld power through coercion and fear are crumbling, revealing layers of manipulation and control that many of us have unconsciously accepted as normal.
Yet within this collapse lies opportunity. As these shadows come to light, we are being invited to step into the role of conscious creators. To awaken to our power, transmute the darkness, and redefine what it means to live a fulfilling life.
Do you feel it? That longing for more?
Perhaps you’ve always sensed that your life was meant to hold deeper meaning. That stirring you feel is no coincidence – it’s your soul calling you to awaken and rise. To break free from unconscious patterns and step into your purpose with clarity and power.
This year holds tremendous potential for self-empowerment, but it’s up to us to claim it. The outside world will only grow noisier as we are called to awaken. The quickest way I’ve found to move through the discomfort is by facing those shadows and connecting with my soul.
So, let me ask you this: What does freedom mean to you?
Are you ready to rise above the noise and step into the fullness of your potential?
If you’re seeking clarity, support, or a way to activate your soul’s mission, I invite you to connect with me. Together, we can uncover the deeper story of your life and help you step onto a higher timeline – one rooted in sovereignty, empowerment, and joy.
It’s time to rewrite the story.
The question is: Are you ready to take the first step?
